This is a scam. This guy has called me several times using different names and tactics. This time it was that a friend of mine was in legal trouble, the problem is that I don't know anyone by the name he said.

Have not idea who this is. Get calls all the time like this

Man called leaving a message saying I was the winner in a sweepstakes I had entered several months ago. He never mentioned the name of the company only his name. I've never entered any type of sweepstakes so ignored the message.

I did not call back, but checked online to see from where the call came. I was suspicious because the message "insinuated" that I had won a Sweepstakes staged 18 months ago. And, they never stated the name of the company, nor my name in the message.

It felt like they are using the award entries as an excuse to fish your information. Married or single and household income. Don't know who they sell the info to. They didn't even know my name . Some one might want to look into it and see if they are one of those identity thefts...
