They called my mom from this number claiming that her ssn was used on several accounts including Amazon and several bank cards? My mom is 87 years old and has no idea who these folks are they claim they are from the Federal Sheriffs office which I have never heard of? They say theyre going to send her a letter with an appointment with social security to get s new number??

Was transferred to this number from 401-646-6045 impersonating Amazon. The person at 202-202-9111 identified themselves as Sandra Jones from First State Bank fraud department. I told her I'd have to call her back. When I called my bank First State Bank, there was no one by that name there.
