a woman called me saying that I was entitled to a $9,200 grant. She had a very heavy accent. She also said I would not have to pay this money back. She gave me another number to call to get the money sent to me. The number she gave m to call was #360 218 4390.

I have a man call me daily telling me he is from the United States Treasury Department and I am entitled to a grant of 9000.00 that I don't have to pay back. Also a woman from the Student Loan Dept. of United States and I don't have to pay back my student loans. They want to give me 9200.00, all I have to do is give them my checking account number, go to Walmart and sent them a 200.00 money order to some P.O. box. They have called me so many times that I have lost count. I google this number and there will be nine or ten numbers associated with it. Then at tax time they were threating me with the law if I didn't send them different amounts for "back taxes". First off I never had any student loans, my taxes are current. I fear that they will get ahold of a senior citizen that will fall for the tax issues. I told each one that called me that I didn't know our government had not one person who didn't sound like they were from Nigeria. When I say this they immediately hang up. I saw on the news that they had found 8 people from Jamaica in North Dakota and were looking for more. They were going to be prosecuted. I hope they do and don't just slap their hand and send them back from where ever they come from. Also with a little more investigating I found out they are using some innocent person's computer to do their dirt and magic jacks to do these calls and there is no way to trace these guys. If they scare 4 or 5 folks into sending 200.00 each then they had a very prosperous day if you ask me. I thank you for giving me a forum to share information and if it keeps one person from falling into their stupid scam, well then I have had a prosperous day.

I received two calls from a woman with an accent claiming that I was entitled to a $9,000 which I would never have to pay back and that it was tax free. The first time half way through the conversation she hung up. The second time she told me that since I was a good taxpayer and have never filed bankruptcy, that I was entitled to the $9,000, and that she could wire it to the nearest WalMart within the next 25 - 30 minutes or direct deposit it into my checking account. When I asked her to send it in a check, she hung up. Please find out who these people are and prosecute. I wouldn't want anyone to be a victim of such a scan. Thank you.
