A voicemail was left by a male from the number, 1-512-686-8923, claiming that he was Sergeant Steven Anderson with the Williamson County Sheriffs Office regarding an immediate Civil Process matter. We called the male back and he claimed that we missed a jury summons and that we could be arrested. Smelling a scam, we grilled him verbally about the validity of his call and when we stated that we were going to contact the courthouse and validate his call he hung up abruptly. We called the actual Williamson County Sheriff's Office and they stated this call was NOT from them.
