comments I got a call the other day from this #, he told me my computer was in trouble. he said if it was just a minor thing he would fix it, if it was hacked, I would be charged $149, I told him I would not pay that because a couple of months ago this guy freaked me out, he showed me where it was. I stupidly paid the $199. for 2 yrs of protection, the $149 wasn't a virus of coarse, I told him I thought they were the hackers and I wasn't paying for that, he just said so you would rather leave it to be hacked and lose your computer, he just wouldn't give up. I finally told him to get out of my computer and hang up the phone, I more or less screamed it. I uninstalled what the other guy put on there and restored it to another time. I am on the no call list for my landline, but it doesn't work. i'm sick about my $199, but I did learn my lesson. the other fake Microsoft techs # is 256 339 3392

Our cell phone is registered on DO NOT CALL list. We do not want calls from this marketer or any others.

The caller told me he was a Microsoft technician and that my computer was sending out error messages because my computer was infected with a Trojan virus. He then offered to clean my computer of the virus if I would purchase either a 2 yr. maintenance contract for $199.00 or a perpetual contract for repair service for $ 299.00. I declined both offers, but I allowed him to take control of my computer remotely so he could show me the problem(s) after declining the offers he returned control to me.
