Will lead to extortion. They will start by offering you money and then show they have put a large amount into your account. They will then offer you money because they made the mistake (usually $500) and want you to go to your bank and get them the difference. They want that done that day because their deposits will not clear for 3 days. So as soon as you send them the money they cancel the deposit.

This number was used to scam me by claiming to be with the US Marshalls office in Washington DC
