Someone from this number sent a counterfeit check to be deposited into my account and also asked that money be sent to them in New Jersey. Scam/Fraud

This person sent a Bad link sent via sms to our phone

He called saying he could help me with a fraud on my checking account and ended up taking me for almost $1500.oo. I have contacted my local police but this person lives in New Jersey and I want to stop him before he does it to someone else.

It was doing the same thing as 805 as well too,.

I received many calls from this unknown number average 4x a day. The caller never leave a message

Yes, asking lots of questions about my property. Supposedly they are a real estate agency, but very pushy. Definitely not good.

I was on another call when this number tried to ring through, caller ID said New Jersey so I didn't answer. They did not leave a voice-mail so a few minutes later I dialed them back...."Number is no longer in service"! After Hearing that and reading the other comments I think they have to be a scam "company" with computer bots(?) random dialing... Plus where I live there is one cable company with no other options or competitors, wooded country area, so I will have FUN answering their call if they call again!
